Ducted Vacuum

Why struggle with bulky, noisy vacuum cleaners?

An integrated ducted vacuum system makes the job easier  with no heavy lifting.  While portable vacuum cleaners appear to clean a room, they can in fact release dust, bacteria and allergens back into the air. Ducted vacuum systems remove all vacuumed dust particles, allergens and odours, creating a healthier living environment for you and your family.

We thoroughly plan the system to suit your home so that only the most efficient and appropriate unit is installed.

Powerful Suction

A ducted vacuum system has up to 5 times more power than most conventional portable vacuum cleaners delivering up to 100 litres per second of suction.
The heavy duty motors used ensure hard to shift dust and dirt will be removed from your valuable carpets, soft furnishings and other floor coverings, both protecting and prolonging their lives.

Faster Cleaning
Versatile enough to be used just about anywhere : carpets, polished floor boards, slate, tile & vinyl floors, curtains and blinds, cornices, skirting boards & shelves, furniture, staircases, cars, caravans & boats, verandahs, decking and al-fresco's.

Hide A Hose

Hide-A-Hose solves the problem of carrying and storing a ducted vacuum hose.

You will never have to store your hose again. Simply pull out the hose, attach your handle and cleaning attachments and begin vacuuming. its that simple. When you have finished vacuuming, the system uses the suction from the ducted vacuum power unit to retract the hose back into the PVC pipe that is installed in the walls. To see if a retractable system is suitable for your home, please feel free to call our friendly team.

For new construction and existing homes

Installation for newer and existing homes is simplified with the reduction of inlet valves needed on each floor. Fewer inlets will save time and make vacuuming more convenient.

Where does  the hose go?
The Hide A Hose Retractable Hose System harnesses the suction from the Power Unit (usually installed in the garage) to retract the hose back into the PVC tubing hidden within the walls and ceiling or floor space of your home.

Is this only for new construction or can my home be retrofitted?

As long as there is access, the system can be installed in most homes. Our specialised technicians would need to visit your home to make sure it can be done.

How long are the Hoses?

A standard ducted vacuum system uses a 9 metre hose. Anything longer than that is just too big to carry and store. With the Hide A Hose System, a 9, 12, or 15 metre hose can be used. The benefit is that with a longer hose the number of inlets needed is usually reduced by half. Fewer inlets will save time and makes vacuuming more convenient.

Can a Hose Sock be used?
The main benefit of a hose sock is so to prevent furniture and woodwork from getting scratched by the hose. Each hose comes standard with a hose sock.

How do you turn the power unit on?

The system can be turned on by a low voltage switch at each inlet. The system can also be turned on and off by an optional remote control (rf) switch.

Hide-A-Hose solves the problem of carrying and storing a ducted vacuum hose.

You’ll never have to carry or store a bulky ducted vacuum hose again. Simply pull out the amount of hose you need from the inlet valve, connect your cleaning wand (with attachment) and begin vacuuming.

When you’re finished, detach the cleaning wand from the hose and the suction from the ducted vacuum power unit retracts the hose into the smart piping system hidden behind the wall.
